Every realistic painting benefits from laying down a solid sketch. We will explore how to map out a composition, break down objects through drawing, and plan how  to paint a full scene. We will cover the basics of watercolor techniques and discuss how to depict light and depth. All materials are supplied but you are welcome to bring your own paints if you are more comfortable with your palette.

  • First day: focus on how to sketch objects and play with basic watercolor techniques.

  • Second day: in-depth tutorials on painting objects and composing a scene, resulting in a final painting.

All materials will be provided.
