Intro to Stained Glass in Portland, Maine

In this fast-track stained glass workshop, you'll get to choose between 5 simple patterns to create your own suncatcher from scratch. Learn how to score and break glass, grind your pieces, foil them, and solder everything together into your very own work of art to take home with you.

About the instructor:
Emma Simard has been working with glass since 2021. She is currently apprenticing under 40-year stained glass master Jim Nutting, learning the art of antique restoration and repair. Emma loves a challenge more than most and is always looking for inspiration in the unexpected. When not in the glass studio, you can find Emma on the back of a horse, out to breakfast with her partner, or snuggled up with her cat and a good book.
